MYBA YACHT CHARTER AGREEMENTS - COVID 19 UPDATE

At BomiShip, we are closely monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 - Corona virus and its international and local developments. At the time of writing this news, we can report that Croatia remains the EU Mediterranean country with the least confirmed cases, while none have been detected in the Dalmatian region.

Yacht charterers want to continue planning their yachting vacations in Croatia. At the same time, the yacht owners want to continue providing service in a seamless manner. To enable that to take place, we have designed an Addendum to our Charter Agreements and updated the booking cancellation policies to further protect the Client’s financial means and enable them to plan their charters with ease of mind. The most important updates include:

• All future charter bookings closed by June 01, 2020, will allow for the charter payment to take place 72 hours before the yacht charter commencement. In case that the Clients would not able to depart from their domicile destination or arrive to Croatia due to the corona virus situation, the charter agreement will be cancelled and refunded in full. Depending on the situation in the country and the world, we will revise this policy after June 01, 2020.
• All charter agreements which have already been signed will be subject to the Addendum that enables the Clients to reschedule their booking for another available term in 2020 or 2021, should Covid-19 official measures still be in place in Croatia 14 days prior to the beginning of the charter.

We remain positive that the first days of spring and increased temperatures will settle the current situation and that our charterers will not need to reschedule their holidays, but enjoy them just like they originally intended.
