1. Why crewed charter?
Chartering a vessel with a crew warrants ultimate comfort, privacy and flexibility. The boat and the crew are dedicated solely to your group, ensuring that you enjoy your holidays to the fullest. This is especially the case with motor yachts, where the crew ties into the style and luxury of the experience, creating an opportunity for you to explore the most beautiful corners of our coast completely relaxed.

2. What is the minimum duration of the charter, and how are the rates calculated?

Charter rates are quoted per week of yacht rent. Seven days is generally the minimum chartering period accepted for a yacht, but should availability permit, we are happy to accommodate shorter durations. If you have this kind of a request, please contact our yacht booking department.

Charters over 7 days are calculated on a pro-rata basis. The weekly rate is divided by seven and then multiplied by the number of charter days.

3. What is included in the price?
Price includes accommodation on the yacht, crew service, use of tender and other included water sports equipment, bed linen, towels, Croatian VAT.

4. What price excludes?
The price excludes the costs of fuel, mooring and marina fees, provisioning.

5. What do I need to do to secure the yacht I've chosen?
All charters are subject to a fully executed contract, so once the availability for your chosen yacht has been confirmed, you will receive the Charter Agreement for signature. If your chosen cruising itinerary requires embarking or disembarking at a point other than the yacht's home port, positioning charges (delivery/redelivery fees) may be imposed. These charges, if applicable, will be confirmed in advance and affirmed in the Charter Agreement, together with any taxes that may apply.

6. What are the payment terms for a charter?
A deposit of 50% of the total charter fee is payable by bank transfer upon signature of the Charter Agreement. This confirms your booking. The remaining 50%, plus an Advance Provisioning Allowance, together with any taxes, delivery/redelivery fees and any additionally agreed charges are payable by bank transfer one month before the charter commences.

7. What is APA ( Advance Provisioning Allowance )?
APA refers to the costs of provisioning for guests, the fuel cost, land arrangements etc. Normally, it amounts to about 30% of the contract value. An Addendum attached to the charter contract lists all items and provides breakdown analysis of the costs. Final accounts are produced by the Captain at the end of the charter with the presence of the Broker, and any unused funds are refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise accordingly, and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

8. Planning the menus?
Bomi Ship's booking office will send you a food preference list before the commencement of the charter. With the filled list, the crew and we will be familiar with your favourite foods and beverages. Chefs will do their utmost to satisfy your requirements.

9. What if we need special menu/food?
Please specify all special food requirements, dietary needs, possible allergies or serious aversions in your preference list. Details are highly appreciated.

10. Planning Itinerary?
If you have any special desires, places you really want to see, or even a fully planned route, please share those requests with us during the planning stages. Once on the yacht, the crew will assist you in every way possible to make your selection possible. Of course, if you don't have specific wishes, you can count on your expert crew to recommend the nicest and most interesting spots. Please note that the defined route can change in case of unfavorable weather conditions.

11. Our privacy?
Our crews are handpicked, and are made up of reliable professionals whose experience includes entertaining celebrities, prominent statesmen and other significant guests. Their discretion is guaranteed and you can rest assured your will enjoy maximum privacy during your charter holidays.

12. Tip for the crew?
If you want to reward the crew for the quality of their service, it is at your personal discretion. Usually, the tip amounts to approximately 10% of the charter fee and it is recommended that it be handed to the captain to share it with all the crew members. If you prefer, you can also tip each crew member yourself and according to their effort.
