Andro Tomic was born on Hvar and has dedicated his life, to wine. After twenty years of professional training at different faculties, institutions and wineries of France, he decided to come back home to his island and produce his own wines. Being determined in his believes that Hvar with its authentic varietis, convenient climate and exceptional locations of vineyards, can recover the long lost reputation in winemaking, he follows his 150 years old family tradition of winemaking. His legendary wines like "1991" have established Plavac as wine meritorious of world's famous wine sorts as served as stepping stone to Hvar viticulture. The winery Bastijana organizes wine tasting in triclinium, a room decorated according to the old Roman dining rooms. Before tasting the wine guests can enjoy sightseeing the winery and listening to the story of the winery history and viticulture as well as viticulture of Hvar. Every wine sort is paired with appropriate snacks in order to instruct the guests of harmony between food and wine. Winery capacity is 50 people; therefore it is possible to oragnize bigger tours - with prior reservation, of course. For those coming by boat valuable information would be they can anchor the boat in port of Jelsa, 10 - 15 minutes walking distance, or use berths with capacity of 22 boats.

Senjkovic
"Premium wines, delicious meals"
The Wine cellar Senjković is located in 200 years old family house with just as old tradition of winemaking and viticulture. That history has given birth to devotion of the young generation that enriches the tradition with modern knowledge. According to the announcement, this winery hosts wine tasting tours enhanced with autochthonic delicacies. All segments of tasting - starting from food through ambience, to wine - shall introduce the guests with history and tradition, customs and culture of the island of Brač. Guests can taste the traditional desert wine prosecco. The wine cellar capacity is 20 seating places. In case there are twenty guests it is possible to arrange and attune the event according to their wishes. Special packages shall be arranged three hours minimum ahead. The winery does not contain hospitality facility. Brac is rich with cultural - historical findings. Historical locations in the vicinity of the cellar are Stone bridge of Franjo Josip, church of St. Peter, Kopača cave, Blaca desert and Dragon's cave. As lives of men and stone on Brac entwine there are numerous gromile and bunje (small stone shelters). The town of Supetar is eight kilometres away from the cellar and offers attractive tourists sites, night clubs, hotels and beaches. While staying here it would be very interesting to sail along the south side of the island, which is adorned with magical pebble beaches, with the most famous Zlatni rat, a natural phenomena and one of the most fabulous beaches on the Adriatic. Another close by praiserworthy gastro spot is Kopacina tavern. ACI marina Milna is only 11 km away from the winery and provides 144 berths in the sea and 15 places on the land.

Duboković
"Grapes of Hvar, world knowledge"
Ivo Duboković produces supreme quality Dalmatian wines: The winery was built in 1939 as part of family house. Aware of the quality of family vineyards located on exquisite locations, Duboković, with assistance of his cousin Ivo Barbić, who is in professional winemaking business in Switzerland, went on a quest to make a top quality wine: He succeeded. The quality launched his wine high in the world of wines. The Duboković winery offers ten wine sorts and soon shall have eleventh - rose of Plavac Mali. This family winery makes 30.000 bottles a year. Events can be organized there with capacity of maximum 30 people. The winery does not contain catering facility. In the port next to the berths, Me & Mrs Jones restaurant is located offering Duboković wines and olive oils. Guests arriving to Jelsa by boat can anchor in the port of Jelsa. Winery opens as per request, so it is best to make a reservation by phone: +385 98 410 110. Also guests arriving to Hvar can contact agency Hvar Tours which organizes winery visits and wine tasting tours.

Plenković
"Gold, with every reason"
Family agriculture Plenković was founded in the beginning of 1986 under the name Zlatn otok. Winery started business in 1993. Vineyards are located on south slopes of the island of Hvar where Plavac mali is the predominant variety, and at the foot of Biokovo, in Makarska Vinogorje where they planted vineyard on the altitude between 30 and 400 m above the sa level. The selection consists of Plavac Mali, Crljenak (Zinfandel), Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah Sort, and white grapes comprise: Pošip, Žilavka, Dubrovačka Malvazija, Chardonnay, Žuti Muškat (Yellow Muscat). From the start Plenković wines have allways been successful both on local and foreign competitions and fairs: Vinovita Zagreb, Gast Split, Vino Ljubljana, Zirich, Bordeaux, Decanter, Sabatine etc. Close to the winery one can find a berthing spot for boats of up to 30 m lenght and berth capacity of 15 sailing boats of 13 m. There is also a restaurant which offers mainly fish specialities, live lobsters from lobster tanks, and fish tank with fence where one can see fish through glass in the basement under the sea, which is a part of the restaurant. Restaurant Bilo Idro hosts wine tasting of all Plenković wine sorts. Restaurant capacity is 100 people and reservations for bigger groups, and berths have to be announced a few days earlier.

Korta Katarina
" Power of Pelješac terroirea"
Owners of the winery, Pam and Lee Anderson are originally from USA, Minnesota. Enchanted by the beauty of our country, they decided to start up business here: in 2005 they bought old estate Riviera and launched their project. Along with estate they bought approximately 7 ha of precious Dingač and Postup wineyards. First wines were made in 2006. The whole philosophy of Korta Katarina rests on making world famous wines of autochthonous sorts. This is the first 'state of the art winery' project in this region. Besides regular sightseeing, winery offers wine tasting served with local cheeses, cold cuts, marinated products, and extra-virgin olive oils. For those opened for gastro experience services of high quality chef are provided (Korta Katarina Experience). Capacity of the winery is 24 seating places in wine tasting room and 24 places on the terrace. For a bigger number of people different events can be organized out in the open. Hospitality capacity of the winery is in reconstruction phase and should be available in season 2013. Close to the hotel there are a few private villas, 5 stars hotel, Lešić Dimitri Palace on Korcula, small luxury hotel Idijan in Orebić, Grand Hotel, Hotel Orebić and Hotel Korsal on Korčula. Historical sites nearby are Maritime Museum and Captain's graveyard in Orebić, Korcula (old town), Ston (walls, salt pans). The main beach Trstenica is right underneath the winery, and a great number of restaurants, cafes, bars, souvenir shops... adorn the promenade leading from winery/beach along the coastline to the other part of the place. Anchoring is possible in front of the winery/hotel at recommended distance of 250 nm, and other option is berth in marina in the centre of Orebić, only 20 minutes of walking distance.

Boškinac
"Good spirit of Gegic"
Winemaking of Boškinac family started in the 50s and the Boškinac winery was built in 2002. Vineyard of 6,5 ha was planted in 2000 and is located only few hundred meters away from the winery. Boris Šuljić, owner of the winery, wanted to cherish authenticity of the island of Pag, so he held on to autochthonous white grape variety Gegic. This variety was on the verge of extinction, and old vines could only be found on the south side of Pag in Povaljina. The owner used these vines and planted a modern vineyard, therefore saved this variety from extinction. He also planted two red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and two white ones Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Boškinac winery makes wines exclusively of grapes from their own vineyard and their wines have been rewarded on many local as well as international manifestations. Winery also offers rooms, suits, restaurant, tavern, winery and organized excursions. It also provides special package - arrangements outside the tourist season, which are oriented towards gastro enjoyments and experienced island of Pag and are combined with excursions. Events for more people can be organized at the winery and reservations are necessary 20 days prior to arrival. Hospitality capacity is eight rooms and three suits. Additional offerings are outdoor pool, massage under baldachin, and organization of an array of excursions, wine tasting, weddings. Anchoring is possible in nearby Novalja providing also one berth. This House does not have working hours, so one can buy bottle of wine any time of the day.
