DAY 5 Velik Borovnjak, Mali Borovnjak and Kakan
This morning we lake a southerly course to a bather's paradise and anchor between the three islands of Velik Borovnjak, Mali Borovnjak and Kakan. For the more adventurous your crew will delight in teaching you the basics of water skiing, wake boarding or offer you a roller coaster ride with a difference in our inflatable 'doughnuts'! Leaving this natural haven we sail for the spectacular cliff faced channel past Šibenik, following the inland waterway for about twelve nautical miles, to the fresh water marina of Skradin where we moor overnight.
DAY 6 Skradin, the Krka National Park and Šibenik
Today we leave the yacht to spend the day exploring the amazing Krka National Park. This area of outstanding natural beauty boasts countlessinter-connected lakes and waterfalls with the opportunity of short boot tours or walks around the many bridges and footpaths. The Franciscan monastery of Visovac located in the middle of one of the lakes makes a picturesque visit. From the tranquillity of the Krka National Park we sail back towards the sea, to the lively and teeming town of Šibenik where we moor overnight in front of the old walled town with its ramparts and cannons still intact. Šibenik offers many fine restaurants, lively bars and cafes to while away the hours.
DAY 7 Biševo, the Modra Spilja (blue grotto) and Vis
Today we return to the open sea with a brief visit to the remote island of Biševo. Renowned for its Modra Spilja or Blue Grotto, accessible only by sea, we swim with you into caves visited by divers from time immemorial. After spending the afternoon in a remote bay we head towards the island of Vis for the evening where island life can be seen at its best around the old town and the harbour, bristling with fishing boats and pleasure craft alike.
DAY 8 Pakleni islands and Hvar
After breakfast we sail the short distance to the Pakleni islands which offer some of the most beautiful bays in the Adriatic.The yacht will anchor here to allow you to take full advantage of the crystal clear waters and to relax before the evening in Hvar. Noted as one of the prettiest towns on the Croatian coast, Hvar nestles between cliffs, its ancient buildings defended by the nearby castle. By night this sophisticated exterior hosts some of the finest bars and clubs you will find anywhere.
DAY 9 Šćedro and Korčula
We continue to sail south to the nearby island of Šćedro where you con relax, sunbathe and take a light lunch. We then set sail for the ancient fortified town of Korčula, the
birthplace of the explorer Marco Polo. There is time to explore Korčula's narrow medieval streets and visit the house in which Marco Polo was born, now a museum. Korčula provides a romantic setting for dinner in the evening with another opportunity to enjoy the best of local cuisine and wine.
